July to August is the Celestar Jazz Dance Concert and Graduation rehearsals month, all CSOPA jazz students are compulsory to attend the rehearsal classes regardless they are joining the concert in KL or not. There will be no syllabus classes for this 2 months. see Celestar Term Schedule & Breaks 2008

The classes are all routine sessions in 1hr 30 mins each.

Students are encouraged to take these classes even though they are not joining to join the concert as to help them to learn to increase the speed of picking up steps, to learn more routines than in the normal syllabus classes and to witness how much they progressed after they joined in the CSOPA syllabus Jazz dance classes.

For those who are joining the concert in KL, are on for a real stage performances, will have a good exposure of working with others dance students of CSOPA Jazz dance from around Malaysia and also with others experienced teachers and Celeste as well. The transportation and accommodation’s arrangement will be confirmed later.

Fees and timetable for respective groups for July and August 2008 are as follows:

(All Saturday- 12^th, 26^th July, 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th 23^rd, 30^th August 2008)= 7 sessions & 8th session will be the rehearsal in Kuala Lumpur( to be announced).

* Fee payable by students who are not joining the concert as well.

There will be an Assessment for all Ipoh’s Celestar Jazz Dance Syllabus students on the 6th April 2008(Sunday), 2.30p.m at Dance Vogue Studio.

All candidates must wear appropriate attires for their assess styles and clean shoes/ jazz shoes. Candidates are advised to reach at 1p.m.

This event is opened to the public for viewing, so all are welcome to watch the students having their assessments and to meet the Founder and Assessor/Examiner of Celestar Jazz Dance Syallabus, Celeste Theunissen(courtesy of www.celestarstudio.com).

All audience are advised to reach our studio at 2.15p.m.

*Pls note that, cameras and video camera recorders are not allowed to take pictures and any recording while the assessments in progress. There will be a Special Announcement when pictures and recordings can be taken. And put all mobile phones in silent mode and do not interrupt while the Assessment is still in progress.

Hi all, hope you all have a wonderful blessed new year.

A new dance class in Dance Vogue Studio that will get your heart jump with joy this year. Let me introduce you to ‘Dance Workout‘. It’s the answers to those who asked for a ‘beginner‘ modern dance class, but find that our Fuse Pop and Belly Jazz a bit hard for them to start with, for those who wanted a fun high energy workout, this is what you are looking for in our studio.

In this class, you’ll learn varieties of dances’ routines, at the same time let your body toned up just like the professional dancers‘ did. Dance styles being taught are hip-hop, Funks, fusions etc… Suitable for guys too, so ladies you don’t have to come alone.

Prepare yourself with comfortable dance wears, and you are ready for the class. *For hygiene and health purposes, please make sure that you don’t wear your normal street shoes into the studio for classes.
